SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2022 Notification Out:
The detailed SSC GD Constable Notification PDF has been released at www.ssc.nic.in on 27th October 2022 announcing the registration dates, tentative exam dates, vacancies, eligibility criteria, selection process, exam pattern, salary, and other information. As per Official Notice, SSC will start the CG Constable Vacancy application form on 27 October 2022 and the last date for the application form will be 30 November 22.
SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2022 - Eligibility Criteria:
- As per the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Recruitment Notification, the candidate should have a minimum age of 18 years and a maximum of 23 years.
- Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-01-2000 and later than 01-01-2005 in normal course.
- However, after relaxation of three (03) years in upper age, the candidate should not have been born earlier than 02-01-1997.
- The Upper age limit relaxation - 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC, Extra 10 years for PWD candidates.
SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2022 Salary:
- Pay Level–1(Rs.18,000 to 56,900) for the post of Sepoy in NCB.
- Pay Level-3 (Rs.21,700-69,100) for BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSF, SSB, NIA and riflemen.
SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2022 Selection Process:
Computer Based Examination: The Computer based examination will consist of one objective type paper containing 80 questions carrying 2 marks each, with the following composition.

Phase 2: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST):Based on the performance in CBE, candidates will be shortlisted for PET/ PST by the Commission
Phase 3: Medical Examination
- Candidates will be shortlisted for Detailed Medical Examination (DME) from the pool of candidates who qualify PET/ PST.
SSC GD Constable 2022 Application Fees:
- Application fee of Rs.100/- for General Male candidate is required while filling the form.
- Application fee for Female/SC/ST/Ex-serviceman are exempted from the application fee.
- Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or through cash in SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
- Fee/ charges once paid will NOT be refunded on any account nor can it be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

Step 1: Applications must be submitted in online mode at the official website of the Commission i.e. https://ssc.nic.in.Step 2: Open the home page Staff Selection Commission. Kindly Check and Collect the All Document - Eligibility, ID Proof, Address Details, Basic Details.
Step 3: After the Registration, a Registration ID and a password will be sent to your mobile no. and email id.
Step 4: Login with the provided Registration ID, date of birth, and password to complete registration for SSC GD Constable 2022.Upload your photograph and signature following the requisites mentioned below.
Step 5: Upload scanned image of passport size photo and signature Preview and verify the application form carefully. Lastly, pay the required application fee online.
