Job Description for Google Apprenticeship 2023:
- Google Apprenticeship Freshers Drive 2023
- This apprenticeship is intended for candidates who have completed their university degree and are looking to learn more in the field of data analytics.
- Please note that an Apprenticeship is not a full-time opportunity but a chance to upskill yourself through learning and development in your chosen field.
- You will spend 20% of your time studying in a tailored training program and the rest of the time on projects with assigned Google teams to gain experience.

- Project Management Apprenticeship
1) Google Digital Marketing Apprenticeship:
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- Maximum of 1 year of relevant experience in Digital Marketing.
- Experience working with computers.
- Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in other industries (e.g. Events, Media, Customer Service, Hospitality, Tourism, Accounting, Teaching etc.).
- Experience with Sheets or similar software.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently, while thinking critically, assess situations, and suggesting relevant solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Train on basic marketing principles, search marketing, and more, and have the opportunity to develop further skills through experience in research and web analytics.
- Work alongside a team of Googlers to solve real life problems while developing and learning from leaders.
- Support insight gathering to better serve our users (e.g., focus groups, working with a research agency to develop/test hypotheses, etc.).
- Act as an account coordinator and facilitator for resolving client campaign implementation and on-going support across multiple areas and partner with teams to drive product/partnership solutions.
- Develop relationships with the external clients/stakeholders, work with a team to drive growth with customers and generate business plans to define strategies and tactics, while understanding/adapting to Google's ongoing product and technology developments.
2) Google Data Analytics Apprenticeship:
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- Maximum of 1 year relevant work experience in Data Analytics.
- Experience working with computers.
- Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Sheets or similar software.
- Experience thinking critically and problem-solving.
- Knowledge of data analysis or interest in working with numbers/patterns.
- Ability to work independently and within a team framework.
- Ability to work on ambiguous tasks, find suitable solutions, and seek help/advice where appropriate.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop skills you need to become a data analyst and practice using platforms such as spreadsheets and programming languages to organize and analyze data.
- Work alongside a team of Googlers to solve real life problems while developing and learning from leaders.
- Use data to quantify the business impact of Google media recommendations and assess data accurately and identify anomalies.
- Create documents for knowledge sharing.
- Conduct custom analysis to uncover industry insights for Google's customers.
3) Google Project Management Apprenticeship:
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- Maximum of 1 year of experience in project management.
- Experience working with computers.
- Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working in another industry (e.g., Events, Media, Customer Service, Hospitality, Tourism, Accounting, etc.).
- Experience thinking critically and problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and within a team framework.
- Ability to work with ambiguous tasks, find suitable solutions, and seek help/advice where appropriate.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop general project management skills across a variety of non-technical and technical disciplines focusing on professional skills needed for effective change and risk management.
- Learn a wide range of tools and techniques, distilling down data for actionable takeaways and making recommendations across different business groups.
- Coordinate internal resources for effective execution of projects and share relevant documentation/reports with project teams, and provide information and regular support to stakeholders.
- Develop in-depth understanding of project scope and particulars (e.g., timeframes, financials, outcomes, etc.), ensure thorough project documentation, and create/review reports.
