Job Description for Cognizant GenC Next for Quality Engineer Position:
- Cognizant Off Campus Drive 2021 Hiring freshers for Performance Engineer position
- We expect our employees to work with an open mindset and with the zeal to excel at everything that they do
Roles and Responsibilities for Cognizant GenC Next for Quality Engineer Position:
- Understand the functional aspects of the clients’ requirement.
- Estimate velocity / user story / effort / product backlog.
- Creation of unit test cases for the user stories developed.
- Creation of automated Test scripts/ Regression Execution of Test Suite using Automation Tools like
- Selenium/ UFT/ SOAP UI.
- Create & publish status reports (# of scripts automated / executed, defects raised, defects retested etc.)
- Develop & customize automation frameworks like SPOCK, Junit.
- Provide periodic task level updates as required.
- Assisting in creating documentations & best practices.
- Work alongside developer and help in fixing low priority defects.
- Develop medium/ low priority user stories.
- Support developers with simple html styles
